Taste meets tradition at this flavorful festival celebrating two of Basilicata’s most beloved delicacies: soppressata (a special dry-cured salami) and caciocavallo cheese. The festival features tastings, folk music, and authentic Lucanian culture.

The highlight of the “Village of Fairy Tales,” this magical festival transforms Rapone into an open-air stage. Winter in Rapone lights up with magic: glowing installations along village streets, theatrical performances, and animated storytelling create an enchanted atmosphere. The Winter Fairy Tale Festival (or Tales of Light) is a poetic year-end celebration: a chance to live the magic of fairy tales even on the coldest winter nights.
